Collins agrees to terms with Royals
The Royals and left-hander Tim Collins have agreed to a one-year Major League contract for $495,725. The club announced the deal Friday.

Collins, 22, went 4-4 with a 3.63 ERA in 68 appearances for the Royals as a rookie in 2011. He also struck out 60 and walked 48 in 67 innings.

Collins was acquired by the Royals from the Atlanta Braves on July 31, 2010.
