Omaha withstood a late charge to complete a four-game sweep of Round Rock. Nate Adcock limited the Express to one hit and three walks over six scoreless innings. He has not allowed a run in his first 11 1/3 innings. Tony Abreu went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs, boosting his average to .472 (17-for-36). Derrick Robinson singled to extend his hitting streak to eight games (14-for-36). The Storm Chasers, winners of six straight, are in Albuquerque on Friday.

NW Arkansas Naturals

Northwest Arkansas fell short in the club's home opener. Jake Odorizzi retired just two batters while being solved for four runs on a hit and three walks. He had thrown five scoreless innings in his first outing, also against Corpus Christi. Carlo Testa was 3-for-4 with three runs scored. He has hit in five straight (.368, 7-for-19). Christian Colon added three hits, an RBI and a stolen base.

Wilmington Blue Rocks

The Blue Rocks were off on Thursday after completing a 2-4 road trip. They open their home schedule on Friday against Frederick (Orioles).

Kane County dropped the series opener in Burlington in 11 innings after letting a 7-3 lead slip away. Daniel Mateo tripled home a run in the first. He added a solo homer in the fourth, his first at this level. Jin-Ho Shin recorded two hits and an RBI.
