Omaha was an out away from a victory when Pete Kozma launched a three-run walk-off home run for the Redbirds. The defeat spoiled a strong start from Ryan Verdugo (seven innings, four hits, two earned runs, three walks, five strikeouts, one home run). Derrick Robinson went 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run. He is batting .348 (24-for-69) on the season. Mike Montgomery is scheduled to start tonight as the road trip moves to Nashville (Brewers).

NW Arkansas Naturals (11-12)

Northwest Arkansas had a six-game winning streak snapped by Arkansas. Jake Odorizzi (six innings, five hits, three earned runs) allowed all three of his runs in the third. Christian Colon reached base five times, going 2-for-2 with three walks and a run scored.

Outfielder Wil Myers was named Texas League Player of the Week on Monday. Myers batted .500 (11-for-22) with two home runs, six RBIs and eight runs scored in six games.

The Blue Rocks were swept in a three-game set as Winston-Salem scored in six different innings. Yordano Ventura allowed five runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks over four-plus innings. Whit Merrifield went 3-for-4 with a run for the Rocks. Angel Franco singled in the ninth, extending his hitting streak to 12 games (.500, 19-for-38). Wilmington begins a four-game series tonight against the Salem Red Sox.

Kane County dropped to 1-1 at Great Lakes. The Loons plated a pair in the first off of Brooks Pounders (four innings, four hits, two runs -- one earned). Santiago Garrido limited Great Lakes to a lone hit over four innings of relief. Garrido's ERA stands at 0.84 (two earned runs in 21 1/3 innings). Jorge Bonifacio was 2-for-4 with the lone RBI for Kane County.
