Pop artist presents piece for All-Star Game
KANSAS CITY -- Pop artist Charles Fazzino was on hand at Kauffman Stadium ahead of Thursday night's game against the Brewers to present a piece of commemorative artwork for the 2012 All-Star Game.

Fazzino was accompanied by Royals legend George Brett, this summer's All-Star ambassador, to unveil the artwork during a special ceremony behind home plate. Brett and Fazzino also held a poster signing in the team store, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Royals charities.

Fazzino wasn't the only artist participating in the pregame ceremonies. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Alice Cooper threw out the first pitch. Cooper is in town for a concert Friday night.
