Seven agree to terms on Friday


SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Seven players have agreed to 2013 contract terms with the Royals, topped by pitcher Everett Teaford's $507,250 salary and outfielder Jarrod Dyson's $506,000 deal.

The others are pitcher Nate Adcock ($500,450), infielder Irving Falu ($492,025), and pitchers Chris Dwyer, Justin Marks and Donnie Joseph, all for the $490,000 minimum. The full salaries are paid if they are with the Major League club for the entire season.

There are still 17 unsigned players on the 40-man roster: Right-handers Aaron Crow, Louis Coleman, Kelvin Herrera, Greg Holland, Luis Mendoza and Guillermo Moscoso; left-handed pitchers Francisley Bueno, Tim Collins, Danny Duffy, John Lamb and Will Smith; infielders Johnny Giavotella, Eric Hosmer, Elliot Johnson and Mike Moustakas, and outfielders Lorenzo Cain and David Lough.
