Homestand Highlights: April 26-May 5

KANSAS CITY, MO (April 25, 2013) - The Kansas City Royals return to Kauffman Stadium to host the Cleveland Indians, Tampa Bay Rays and Chicago White Sox during the club's upcoming 10-game homestand, April 26-May 5.

The homestand features a number of great promotions and special events, highlighted by a Billy Butler Silver Slugger bobblehead giveaway, School Day at the K and Viva Los Royals. The club will also host the first Buck Night and Summer Fireworks of the season during the home stretch.

Friday, April 26 - Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 7:10 p.m.

  • Buck Night - Hot dogs, small Pepsi products and peanuts are just $1 each all night long. www.royals.com/fanvalue.
  • Focus on Driving Night - April is National Distracted Driving Awareness month, and the Royals are teaming up with Sprint to provide information on the dangers of distracted driving. The first 10,000 fans will also receive a car magnet, which reminds fans not to text while behind the wheel, presented by Sprint.
  • Tate Stevens Magnet - To celebrate the release of Tate Stevens' self-titled debut album, the first 10,000 fans will also receive a magnet featuring the album cover artwork, courtesy of Syco Music/RCA Nashville. Stevens, a native of Belton, Mo., was the winner of X Factor Season 2.

Saturday, April 27 - Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 6:10 p.m.
