Omaha Storm Chasers (14-8)

Omaha 13, Iowa 2

HR: Xavier Nady (4), David Lough (2), Anthony Seratelli (3)

Omaha plated six in the first en route to a lopsided win at home. Nady led the hit parade, finishing 5-for-5 with a pair of doubles, a homer and four RBIs. Irving Falu added four hits and an RBI, while Seratelli was a triple shy of the cycle. Sanches held Iowa to two runs on five hits and two walks over six innings.

NW Arkansas Naturals (8-14)

Northwest Arkansas 5, Tulsa 2 (10 innings)
WP: Edwin Carl (1-1)
HR: None

Northwest Arkansas evened the series at 1-1 with a 10-inning win. Matt Fields scored the go-ahead tally on a sacrifice fly by Alex McClure. Mitch Canham and Whit Merrifield had three hits apiece for the Naturals. Starter Jason Adam scattered two runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. Andy Ferguson (three innings) and Carl (two innings) held Tulsa scoreless in relief.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (9-13)

Winston-Salem 2, Wilmington 0
LP: Sam Selman (1-1)
HR: None

Wilmington was blanked at home. Winston-Salem's Bryan Blough held the Blue Rocks to two hits and two walks over seven innings. Selman scattered two runs (one earned), three hits and five walks over six innings. Jorge Bonifacio, Jack Lopez and Justin Trapp posted hits for the Blue Rocks.

Lexington Legends (8-15)

Augusta 12, Lexington 6
LP: Ali Williams (1-1)
HR: None

Augusta plated two in the ninth and six in the 10th to overtake Lexington. Bubba Starling posted three RBIs on a pair of singles, as Lexington built an early 6-1 lead. Adalberto Mondesi drove home two with his team-leading third triple. Starter Daniel Stumpf (five innings, five hits, three earned runs) allowed his first earned runs of 2013 (20 1/3 innings).
