Omaha Storm Chasers (16-13)

Omaha went into extras for a second straight day, with Memphis plating seven in the 12th. Starter Ryan Verdugo limited the Redbirds to two runs on seven hits and four walks over six innings. Ramirez recorded two hits, including a game-tying homer in the eighth. Irving Falu added two hits and an RBI. The Storm Chasers are at Reno (D-backs) tonight.

NW Arkansas Naturals (11-18)

NW Arkansas 6, Arkansas 1
WP: Yordano Ventura (3-0)
HR: None

Ventura's strong start led Northwest Arkansas to a second straight win. "Ace" struck out 10 while holding the Travelers scoreless on two hits and two walks over six innings. The righty has a 1.84 ERA and 43 strikeouts over 29 1/3 innings. Every Northwest Arkansas batter recorded a hit. Angel Franco finished 4-for-5 with two runs scored.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (13-17)

The Blue Rocks were off on Monday after a weekend set in Lynchburg. They host Potomac (Nationals) on Tuesday.

Lexington Legends (15-16)

Lexington 2, Lakewood 0
WP: Bryan Brickhouse (1-3)
SV: Alec Mills (4)
HR: None

Lexington blanked Lakewood for a sixth straight win. Brickhouse fanned nine while scattering two hits and two walks over 6 2/3 innings. The third-round pick from 2011 lowered his season ERA to 2.41 (12 earned runs in 33 2/3 innings pitched). Mills (2 1/3 innings pitched) recorded his third save in as many outings.
