KANSAS CITY, MO (May 14, 2013) - The Kansas City Royals are set to host the fifth annual Bark at the Park on Sunday, May 26 as the Royals take on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at 1:10 p.m. Fans can sit alongside their dog in a designated section of the ballpark (sections 107-109 and 206-209) during this special event. In addition, there will be vendors and activities in the Outfield Experience. Gates open at 11:30 a.m.
The Bark at the Park ticket package includes both a human and canine game ticket and a Royals dog leash (photo attached). Also, $3 from each ticket package will be donated to Wayside Waifs, an organization that specializes in pet adoption and is committed to helping homeless animals find a permanent home. Additional tickets can be purchased for $15. Please note that fans with two or more dogs must have an additional adult accompany the canine.
Tickets to Bark at the Park must be purchased prior to the day of the event. You can register your dog at www.royals.com/bark. Tickets will be available for pick-up from 90 minutes before the game until the end of the third inning outside Gate A at a designated table. No tickets will be mailed or available for pick-up in advance.
