The Storm Chasers were victorious in their return to Werner Park. Justin Marks (5.0 IP, 8 H, 3 ER, 5 BB, 7 SO) picked up his first Triple-A win. The lefty was acquired from Oakland in 2010 as part of the David DeJesus trade. Omaha had a balanced attack, with eight players recording hits. Anthony Seratelli posted two hits, an RBI and a run while raising his average to .333 (33-for-99).

NW Arkansas Naturals (13-25)

Arkansas 2, NW Arkansas 0
LP: Yordano Ventura (3-1)
HR: None

The Naturals were swept in a four-game road series. Arkansas scored twice on three straight doubles in the first. Those were the only hits allowed by Yordano Ventura (6.0 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 9 SO). The righty leads the league in strikeouts (56) and is second in ERA (1.79). Brett Eibner, Angel Franco and Rey Navarro recorded singles for Northwest Arkansas.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (18-22)

Wilmington lost the rubber game at Potomac. Kyle Zimmer allowed five runs on six hits and three walks over 4.0 innings. Cheslor Cuthbert posted two hits and an RBI. Jack Lopez doubled, walked and scored twice.

Lexington Legends (20-19)

Lexington at West Virginia - Postponed

Lexington's opener in West Virginia was postponed due to rain. The clubs are scheduled to play one game on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday.
