Royals partner with Heart to Heart & American Red Cross for tornado relief

Royals Charities, the charitable arm of the Kansas City Royals, has announced its support of local relief efforts for Moore, Okla., after it was hit by a devastating tornado on Monday with a $10,000 donation to Heart to Heart International, an emergency response organization based in Olathe, Kan.

In addition, the Royals will host fundraising efforts during the club's upcoming home series against the Los Angeles Angels set for Thursday, May 23-Sunday, May 26. All in-stadium fundraising will be directed to the American Red Cross.

In-Stadium Collections: American Red Cross volunteers will be collecting cash donations at the Royals Charities Headquarters located on the third base side of the KIA Diamond Club on the Field/Plaza Level during each day of the Angels series.
