Chris Dwyer's 8.0 strong innings lifted Omaha to a 2-2 series split. Dwyer held Tucson to a run on six hits and three walks, lowering his ERA to 2.83 (18 ER in 57.1 IP). The Storm Chasers scored three in the third off of former Royal Sean O'Sullivan. Christian Colon posted three hits, three RBI and a run. Omaha is at New Orleans (Marlins) tonight.

Northwest Arkansas lost a second straight at Corpus Christi. Matt Fields gave the Naturals an early 1-0 lead with his team-leading 11th homer. Roman Hernandez and Rey Navarro were both 3-for-4. Hernandez recorded a triple and a run while Navarro homered in the ninth. Brooks Pounders allowed a season-high six runs on eight hits over 4.0 IP+2.

John Lamb fired 7.0 shutout innings, leading Wilmington to a rubber game win over Lynchburg. The lefty, who is coming off a 2011 Tommy John surgery, held the Hillcats to three hits and a walk while recording eight strikeouts. The offense supported Lamb with a four-run fourth. Cheslor Cuthbert recorded two hits, two RBI and a run. He is batting .324 (12-for-37) with eight RBI over his last 10 games.

Lexington was blanked in the opener at Hagerstown. Daniel Stumpf yielded four runs (three earned) over 5.0 innings. Terrance Gore led the Legends with two hits and a stolen base, bringing his season total to 25 steals. Bubba Starling added a double in four trips.
