Omaha was limited to three hits in the opener at Bricktown Ballpark. Oklahoma City scored three in the first and two in the second against Chris Dwyer (2.0 IP, 4 H, 5 ER, 4 BB, 1 SO). Anthony Seratelli scored Omaha's first run on a Willy Taveras triple. Irving Falu doubled in the fifth and dashed home on a wild pitch. Xavier Nady added a single and a walk.

NW Arkansas Naturals (15-34)

Corpus Christi 6, Northwest Arkansas 3

Northwest Arkansas let a 3-1 lead slip away as Corpus Christi plated five runs in the seventh. Starter Noel Arguelles held the Hooks scoreless on a hit and a walk over 3.0 innings. Orlando Calixte was 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Manuel Pina hit a solo homer in the fifth.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (26-25)

Wilmington 6, Carolina 0

Wilmington scored three in the first and rode another strong outing by John Lamb to a shutout win over Carolina. Justin Trapp led off the game with a home run, his second in three games. Jared Schlehuber drove in two runs and Cheslor Cuthbert added his 15th double of the season, scoring Lane Adams. Lamb, last week's Carolina League Pitcher of the Week, scattered four hits and two walks over his second straight start of 7.0 scoreless innings.

Lexington Legends (26-26)

Lexington dropped to 1-1 vs. the Intimidators. Kannapolis scored five in the fourth and seven in the fifth. Colin Rodgers allowed nine runs (five earned) on seven hits and four walks over 4.0 IP+4. Bubba Starling homered in the seventh for Lexington's lone run. Humberto Arteaga recorded a single in the second.
