Omaha Storm Chasers (30-37)

Ventura earned his first Triple-A win as Omaha snapped a three-game skid on Sunday. Ventura worked five innings, allowing three hits and a walk, with the lone run coming on a homer in the first. Hayes tied the game at 1-1 with a home run in the third off of Guillermo Moscoso, whom Hayes caught during Spring Training. Quintin Berry recorded a go-ahead two-run single in the fourth.

NW Arkansas Naturals (24-45)

NW Arkansas 3, Arkansas 2 (13 innings)
WP: Mitch Canham (1-0)
SV: Whit Merrifield (1)
HR: Rey Navarro (4, 5), Manuel Pina (5)

Navarro's second home run of the game lifted Northwest Arkansas to a 13-inning win. Navarro started the scoring with a homer in the fourth. Pina followed with a solo shot in the fifth. Canham began the day at first base and recorded two hits before taking the mound. He scattered a hit and two walks over two innings, earning the win. Merrifield started at second base and worked a perfect 13th inning for the save.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (33-37)

Winston-Salem 7, Wilmington 0
LP: Tyler Sample (0-3)
HR: None

Wilmington lost the first-half finale to finish 1-3 against Winston-Salem. The Dash scored four runs in the second off of Tyler Sample (3 IP, 2 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 4 K's). Ethan Chapman, Daniel Mateo, Kenny Swab and Justin Trapp recorded hits for Wilmington. The Blue Rocks have four off-days, as the Carolina-California League All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday night in San Jose, Calif.

Lexington Legends (33-35)

Asheville 8, Lexington 7 (11 innings)
LP: Ali Williams (3-4)
HR: None

The Legends were swept in a four-game series, though several prospects had big days at the plate. Bubba Starling posted his first five-hit game as a pro, recording four singles, a double, an RBI and a stolen base. Raul Mondesi was 4-for-6 with two RBIs and two runs, while Fred Ford added three hits and two runs.
