KANSAS CITY -- The Royals and Rays will meet again on Monday, Aug. 26 at 1:10 p.m. CT at Kauffman Stadium in a makeup game from May 2 that was postponed because of snow. The Rays will be in the middle of a homestand at that time, but they will fly into Kansas City for the game.
On May 2, the Royals were leading 1-0 through 3 1/2 innings. It was 41 degrees when the game started, with a 32 degree wind chill. The game was first postponed for rain, but then snow started to fall and it was called after one hour and eight minutes of play.
The School Day at The K pregame program that was set up for May 2 was rescheduled for June 12, but any remaining group tickets may be exchanged for the Aug. 26 game or another game this season by contacting the team's group sales department. Any other tickets may be exchanged through the box office.
