Omaha Storm Chasers (32-42)

Omaha lost the opener as Oklahoma City scored multiple runs in five separate innings. Justin Marks was roughed up for nine runs on 15 hits and three walks over 5.2 innings. Buddy Baumann pitched a scoreless frame, lowering his ERA to 0.50 (1 ER in 18.0 IP). Xavier Nady was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Max Ramirez added two hits and a walk. A doubleheader is scheduled for today.

NW Arkansas Naturals (3-2 2nd half, 28-47 overall)

NW Arkansas 3, Tulsa 1
WP: Jason Adam (3-8)
SV: Zach Jackson (7)
HR: Brett Eibner (8)

The Naturals moved to 2-1 at Tulsa, with both wins by one run. Brett Eibner homered to lead off the fourth and Whit Merrifield added an RBI single in the fifth. Jason Adam carried a shutout into the seventh, allowing a run on three hits and a walk over 6.1 IP. The series concludes today, with the Texas League All-Star Game on Tuesday in Springdale.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (1-1 2nd half, 34-38 overall)

Wilmington 11, Salem 7
WP: Sam Selman (6-5)
HR: Lane Adams (3)

Wilmington withstood a late Salem rally after building an 8-0 lead. Lane Adams opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the first. Adams added an RBI single in a six-run second. Jack Lopez and Jared Schlehuber drove in two runs apiece. Starter Sam Selman limited Salem to three hits and a walk over 5.0 scoreless innings.

Lexington Legends (2-1 2nd half, 35-36 overall)

Lexington 2, Savannah 0
WP: Aroni Nina (4-3)
SV: Kevin Allen (1)
HR: None

The Legends scored twice in the eighth to win at home. Bubba Starling doubled home a run, stole third and scored on Michael Antonio's single. Christian Binford fanned nine while scattering seven hits and two walks over 6.0 scoreless innings.

Idaho Falls Chukars (1-2)

Ogden 7, Idaho Falls 6
LP: Tyler Mack (0-1)
HR: None

Idaho Falls dropped the first of four at Ogden. 2013 second-rounder Cody Reed made his pro debut, yielding an unearned run on three hits and four walks over 3.1 innings. Elier Hernandez tripled home a pair while first-rounder Hunter Dozier doubled in a run and scored for the third time in as many games.

Burlington Royals (3-0)

Burlington 2, Pulaski 1
WP: Kevin McCarthy(1-0)
SV: Jose Miguel Rodriguez (1)
HR: Bobby Brown (1)

Burlington earned a sweep in the as Bobby Brown went from defensive replacement to offensive star. He homered in the sixth and tripled home the go-ahead run in the eighth. Cesar Ogando allowed a run over 5.0 IP. Kevin McCarthy worked 3.0 scoreless innings for the win.

Surprise Royals (1-2)

Arizona Mariners 6, Surprise Royals 3
LP: Dylan Sons (0-1)
HR: None

The Royals lost their first true road contest of the year. They were limited to a run over 5.0 innings by a rehabbing Danny Hultzen, Seattle's first round pick in 2011. Dylan Sons allowed four runs (two earned) on seven hits over 4.2 innings. Alfredo Patino was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored.
