Omaha Storm Chasers (39-48)

WP: Chris Dwyer (6-6)
HR: None

Kelvin Herrera and Chris Dwyer combined on a series-opening shutout at Round Rock. Herrera fanned seven while holding the Express to two walks and no hits over 3 1/3 innings. Dwyer scattered five hits and a walk over 5 2/3 innings. Christian Colon was 3-for-4 with the go-ahead RBI. Danny Duffy is scheduled to start tonight for Omaha.

NW Arkansas Naturals (8-6 2nd half, 33-51 overall)

Midland 16, NW Arkansas 6
LP: Andy Ferguson (1-3)
HR: None

Northwest Arkansas held an early 3-0 lead before losing a lopsided game. Midland scored six unearned runs and capped the night with eight in the seventh. Brian Fletcher recorded three hits, two RBIs and a run. He's batting .309 (38-for-123) on the year. Orlando Calixte added two hits, an RBI and a run.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (7-6 2nd half, 40-43 overall)

Potomac 3, Wilmington 1
LP: Kyle Zimmer (2-8)
HR: Jack Lopez (4)

Potomac's Adrian Nieto broke up a scoreless game with a three-run homer off of Kyle Zimmer in the sixth. Zimmer fanned seven without a walk over seven innings. Jack Lopez homered in the ninth for Wilmington. Lane Adams and Dennis Raben had two hits apiece for the Blue Rocks. Adams is batting .333 (13-for-39) over his last 10 games while Raben is hitting .395 (15-for-38) in his last 10 contests.

Lexington Legends (10-5 2nd half, 43-40 overall)

HR: None

Leonel Santiago scattered five hits and two walks over seven shutout stanzas at West Virginia. Clayton Schulz and John Walter each tossed a scoreless inning. Mark Threlkeld doubled home Lexington's first run and finished 3-for-5. Raul Mondesi added two hits, two walks and two runs.

Idaho Falls Chukars (4-11)

Grand Junction 12, Idaho Falls 2
LP: Tyler Mack (0-2)
HR: None

Idaho Falls let a 2-1 lead slip away as Grand Junction scored once in the sixth and nine times in the seventh. Starter Cody Reed held the Rockies to a run on three hits over four innings. Zane Evans led the Chukars with two hits.

Burlington Royals (5-7)

Princeton at Burlington - Postponed

Burlington was postponed for a second straight day, this time at home vs. Princeton. A doubleheader is scheduled for tonight, beginning at 5:00 p.m. local time.

Surprise Royals (5-7)

Arizona Indians 9, Surprise 0
LP: Luis Melgar (0-1)
HR: None

Surprise lost both halves of a home-and-home vs. the Tribe. Angel Franco was 1-for-3 with a double in the second game of a rehab stint. Jorge Bonifacio, also on a rehab assignment, was 1-for-4.
