Corpus Christi's Enrique Hernandez delivered a three-run, pinch-hit homer in the eighth, sending Northwest Arkansas to a second straight loss in Texas and fifth straight overall. Orlando Calixte broke up a scoreless game with a solo home run in the sixth. Lane Adams drew a bases-loaded walk later in the inning. Naturals starter Brooks Pounders worked 6.0 innings, limiting Corpus Christi to a solo homer in his final frame.

Wilmington dropped a matinee finale as the Sox rallied from a 3-2 deficit with three in the seventh and one in the eighth. Starter J.C. Sulbaran allowed two runs, three hits and four walks over 3.1 innings. Danny Mateo finished 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run. Yem Prades added two hits and an RBI. Jared Schlehuber added his team-leading 55th RBI. The Blue Rocks are at home tonight vs. Lynchburg (Braves).

Lexington completed a three-game sweep thanks to Jin-Ho Shin, who hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the seventh. The Legends won all three games by one run. Daniel Stumpf worked 7.0 innings to earn his team-best 10th win. He allowed three runs (two earned) in the fifth.

Jake Junis fired 6.0 shutout innings as Idaho Falls completed a 4-2 home-and-home series against Ogden. Junis scattered three hits and four walks while striking out seven. Dominique Taylor was 3-for-4 with two runs. Alex Marquez added two hits, an RBI and two runs. The Chukars are at Grand Junction (Rockies) tonight.

Burlington dropped to 2-2 in a home-and-home series. Andres Machado yielded two runs and seven hits without a walk over 4.0 innings. Desmond Henry and Mauricio Ramos had two hits apiece. Ramos is third in the league with a .331 average (43-for-130).

Starter Luis Rico limited the Tribe to an unearned run over 4.0 innings.
