Brian Bocock's sac fly in the eighth lifted the Storm Chasers to a win in their final game at Nashville's Greer Stadium, which will give way to a new venue in 2015. Brett Tomko struck out six without a walk over 5.0 innings, allowing a run and six hits. Paulo Orlando was 2-for-2 plus two walks, extending his road hitting streak to 22 games. He's fourth in the PCL with a .364 average (56-for-154).

NW Arkansas Naturals (16-29)

The Naturals dropped to 0-2 in a three-game set, the club's fourth straight defeat overall. Andy Ferguson recorded four strikeouts while yielding two runs, six hits and three walks over 4.0 innings. Scott Alexander (2.0 IP+1), Malcom Culver (2.0 IP) and Cody Fassold (1.0 IP) produced scoreless relief outings. Cheslor Cuthbert drove in Justin Trapp with a sacrifice fly in the first for the lone Naturals run. Cuthbert is ranked 19th among Royals prospects by MLB.com Ethan Chapman and Juan Graterol recorded two hits apiece.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (22-23)

Wilmington lost in a bid for a four-game sweep. The Blue Rocks built a 2-0 lead on a pair of sac flies by Hunter Dozier, KC's sixth-ranked prospect. Carolina scored all three runs in the fourth off of Daniel Stumpf (5.0 IP, 9 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 2 SO). Number seven prospect Bubba Starling was 2-for-4, extending his hitting streak to 11 games (.359, 14-for-39). Jack Lopez added two hits, a walk and both runs.

Lexington was held to five hits in the series opener. Ramon Torres had two hits, including a triple. It was the third straight multi-hit game for Torres, who is batting .306 (45-for-147). Dominique Taylor added a pair of singles, boosting his average to .322 (37-for-115). Matt Tenuta struck out three while allowing three runs, six hits and a walk over 5.1 IP.
