CHICAGO -- No Ned Yost, no problem for the Royals and replay review.

With Yost having been ejected in the first inning, bench coach Don Wakamatsu challenged a call at second base in the fourth inning that ultimately led to a run. With Mike Moustakas at first, Alcides Escobar chopped a ball up the middle. White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez fielded the ball, appeared to step on second and fired to first for the double play.

But Moustakas contended that Ramirez didn't touch second base until after Moustakas had his hand in, and after a quick review, the call was overturned and Moustakas was awarded second, with Escobar still out at first.

The call proved important for the Royals, as one batter later, Jarrod Dyson drove home Moustakas with a single to center that extended Kansas City's lead to 6-1.
