Aaron Brooks (5 2/3 IP, 9 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 4 SO) picked up the win, with Casey Coleman (2 IP, 2 H) and Tim Collins (1 1/3 IP, 3 SO) posting scoreless outings.

The Naturals are 2-2 on the road trip after falling at Frisco. Starter and 12th-ranked Royals prospect Sam Selman allowed three runs, five hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings. Noel Arguelles faced the minimum over two innings, yielding one hit while striking out three. Lane Adams provided all of the scoring with a three-run homer in the eighth. He has six home runs over his last 10 games after hitting two through his first 67 contests.

The Blue Rocks lost the opener at Salem, their fourth straight defeat overall. Jonathan Dziedzic allowed four runs, six hits and a walk with two strikeouts over five innings. Aroni Nina (2 IP, 4 SO) and Daniel Stumpf (1 IP) faced the minimum in relief. Daniel Rockett was 2-for-4 with a double. His second-inning single snapped a stretch of 21 innings without a hit for Wilmington.

Lexington dropped to 1-1 in a home series as Augusta built a 10-0 lead by the sixth. Elier Hernandez doubled in the sixth, scoring Ramon Torres for the first Lexington run. Hernandez is ranked 10th among Royals prospects by MLB.com. Dex Kjerstad hit a two-run homer in the ninth. Carlos Garcia led the Legends with two hits.

The Chukars fell to 2-1 in a four-game home set. Grand Junction built a 5-0 lead by the third inning, with Idaho Falls scoring the next three runs. Pedro Gonzalez and Desmond Henry recorded two hits apiece while Alexis Rivera hit his first homer of the year. Sam Lewis tossed 4 1/3 innings of relief, allowing one run with two strikeouts.

Meibrys Viloria's first professional home run lifted Burlington to an opening win over the Astros. The 17-year-old from Colombia also recorded his first RBI on the three-run shot. He added a double and a walk. Yunior Marte struck out seven over the first four innings. Julio Pinto (4 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 2 SO) earned a win in relief.
