Northwest Arkansas won the series opener as Lane Adams delivered a walk-off single in the ninth. Angel Franco was 4-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs. Edinson Rincon doubled home a pair in the seventh as the Naturals scored three to take a 4-1 lead. Andy Ferguson turned in a sixth straight quality start, holding Midland to a run on three hits and two walks over 6.0 innings. He struck out seven and has a 2.23 ERA over his last 10 starts (15 ER in 60.2 IP).

Wilmington won a second straight over Potomac, with the game shortened to seven innings due to rain. Fourth-ranked Royals prospect Sean Manaea tossed a scoreless first inning before an initial delay halted play for over two hours. Johnny Walter replaced Manaea after the delay and worked 4.1 innings, striking out six while allowing just one hit. Cam Gallagher was 2-for-2 with a solo home run, two RBI and a walk. Cody Stubbs posted an RBI single, a triple and a run.

The Legends were held to three hits in a second straight loss to Greensboro. Starter Pedro Fernandez struck out six while yielding two runs over 3.2 innings. Matt Tenuta followed by striking out four and holding the Grasshoppers to a run, four hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. Humberto Arteaga, Mauricio Ramos and Frank Schwindel recorded singles for Lexington.

Idaho Falls finished 1-2 in the Ogden leg of a home-and-home series. Ryan O'Hearn gave the Chukars an early 2-0 lead with a homer in the first. Robert Pehl posted three hits, including a double. The former University of Washington outfielder is batting .347 (17-for-49) on the year. Cruz Guevara held the Raptors to a run on two hits over 4.0 innings.

Burlington had a scheduled off day in their home-and-home series with Danville. They play tonight at Danville, then at home on Friday and Saturday.
