Omaha Storm Chasers (45-42)

Omaha won the finale at Iowa, plating two in the ninth. Francisco Pena's single scored Jimmy Paredes for the tying run. Whit Merrifield's double drove in Pena for the go-ahead tally. Carlos Peguero was 2-for-4 with his fourth home run since June 28. Aaron Brooks (5.0 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 6 SO) made the start. Buddy Baumann (2.0 IP), Wilking Rodriguez (1.0 IP) and Louis Coleman (1.0 IP) produced scoreless relief outings.

NW Arkansas Naturals (7-7 second half, 32-52 overall)

Midland 3, NW Arkansas 1
LP: J.C. Sulbaran (5-6)
HR: None

The Naturals dropped to 1-1 vs. Midland. J.C. Sulbaran pitched well in defeat, scattering three runs (two earned) over 6.2 innings. He struck out six, walked three and allowed eight hits. The righty has a 1.93 ERA over his last six starts (8 ER in 37.1 IP). Angel Franco and Edinson Rincon had two hits apiece.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (6-8 second half, 39-43 overall)

Wilmington at Potomac - Postponed due to rain

Rain postponed Wilmington's finale vs. Potomac. The Blue Rocks begin a seven-game road trip tonight at Winston-Salem (White Sox).

Lexington Legends (5-10 second half, 34-51 overall)

Greensboro 3, Lexington 2
LP: Kevin Perez (1-2)
HR: Mauricio Ramos (4)

The Legends were swept in a three-game set as Greensboro scored in the seventh, eighth and ninth. Starter Luis Rico held the Grasshoppers to a run, four hit and three walks while striking out two over 6.1 innings. Mauricio Ramos was 2-for-4 with his third home run in his last nine games. Alexis Rivera added two hits and an RBI.

Idaho Falls Chukars (8-10)

Idaho Falls 5, Ogden 3
WP: Emilio Ogando (1-0)
SV: Jon Fitzsimmons (1)
HR: Ryan O'Hearn (3)

Ryan O'Hearn led the Chukars to a home win. The 2014 eighth-rounder hit his second home run in as many games to even the score at 3-3 in the sixth. He capped a 4-for-4 night with a go-ahead single in the seventh, raising his average to a league-leading .431 (22-for-51). Robert Pehl added two hits, two RBI and a run. He's batting .358 (19-for-53). Torey Deshazier struck out three and allowed three runs over 6.0 IP.

Burlington Royals (6-8)

Danville 5, Burlington 3
LP: Robinson Yambati (0-2)
HR: None

Burlington scored one in the ninth before falling short with the tying run on first. Joshua Banuelos was 3-for-4 with a run. He was KC's 28th-round pick in June out of Fresno Pacific. Ryan Dale posted two hits, an RBI and a run. Starter Carter Hope held Danville to a run, two hits and three walks while striking out two through 5.0 innings.
