Starter Luis Rico held the Grasshoppers to a run, four hit and three walks while striking out two over 6.1 innings. Mauricio Ramos was 2-for-4 with his third home run in his last nine games. Alexis Rivera added two hits and an RBI.

Ryan O'Hearn led the Chukars to a home win. The 2014 eighth-rounder hit his second home run in as many games to even the score at 3-3 in the sixth. He capped a 4-for-4 night with a go-ahead single in the seventh, raising his average to a league-leading .431 (22-for-51). Robert Pehl added two hits, two RBI and a run. He's batting .358 (19-for-53). Torey Deshazier struck out three and allowed three runs over 6.0 IP.
