Omaha dropped a second straight at Reno to fall into a first place tie with Oklahoma City. Clayton Mortensen allowed four runs, five hits and two walks with five strikeouts over 3.1 innings. The Storm Chasers were held to five hits in a complete game by Reno's Bradin Hagens. Johnny Giavotella posted a double and a triple. He scored Omaha's lone run in the ninth.

The Naturals finished with a 1-3 mark at Arkansas. Arkansas scored five in the first and built a 12-0 lead by the sixth. First baseman Mark Threlkeld pitched a scoreless eighth, allowing one hit. Lane Adams, Juan Graterol and Justin Trapp recorded singles. Hunter Dozier drove in a run a sacrifice fly in the eighth. The Naturals open their final road series of the year tonight at Tulsa.

Wilmington remains tied in the race for a Wild Card playoff spot after a rubber game loss at Salem. Glenn Sparkman worked 5.0 innings, holding Salem to a run on seven hits and a walk with six strikeouts. The Sox broke a 1-1 tie with four in the seventh. Cody Stubbs had two hits, including a solo home run in the ninth. Zane Evans was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Lexington Legends (26-37 second half, 55-78 overall)
The Legends returned home after a sweep at Augusta. They've won five in a row, with South Atlantic League Player of the Week Elier Hernandez leading the way. They host West Virginia (Pirates) tonight.

The Chukars dropped a pair of seven-innings games at Orem. They had 17 hits in game one, led by Ryan O'Hearn's 4-for-4 night. He's batting .380 on the year, second in the league. Corey Toups and Luis Valenzuela added three hits apiece. Idaho Falls was held scoreless until the ninth inning of game two, when Brandon Thomasson singled home a pair. He recorded two of the five hits. Eric Stout took the loss, allowing an unearned run over 3.0 innings.

Burlington evened a road set at a game apiece. Six players scored a run for the Royals. Riley King was 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run. Yunior Marte (5.0 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 SO) earned the win, with Dylan Sons posting 3.0 scoreless innings in relief.
