KANSAS CITY -- First baseman Eric Hosmer's injury rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha got off to a successful start on Saturday.

Hosmer went 2-for-6 with two singles and two RBIs. His last hit drove in the winning run to give the Storm Chasers a 10-9 walk-off victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.

He had been out since Aug. 1 with a stress fracture of the right hand, the result of being struck by a pitch on July 20 at Boston.
